‘Multistore completely understood what we needed’

Multistore visited site to discuss British Gypsums requirements. They needed a storage system to store lengths of steel stud section and sheet plasterboard. These had previously been stored on the floor or in conventional adjustable pallet racking making for slower picking operations. British Gypsums Works Engineer said that they were wasting a lot of space previously and that they wanted to fully utilise the height of the building.

It was also important that the new racking was compatible with their existing forklift trucks. We designed a system that was fully useable with all of their steel store products and one which was also accessible with the existing fork lift trucks on site.

Working closely with Multistore Storage Systems Ltd we managed to increase their overall storage capacity and improved efficiencies through quicker order pick and retrieval times.
