Racking & Shelving Safety Inspections Offer

If you cannot answer yes to all the questions in this list, you would benefit from a Multistore Storage Rack Inspection to verify the structural integrity of your rack installation:

1.        Is your racking regularly inspected by an approved inspector?

2.        Do you have a documented report that identifies the extent of the damage and remedial action required?

3.        Has any previously identified damage been repaired using the correct componenets?

4.        Do you know the maximum loading of your racking?

5.        Is sufficient protective equipment being used?

Under current SEMA codes of practice the following statements are made:

• On a damaged upright you are allowed up to 5mm left to right and 3mm front to back deflection on a 1m section.
• Bracing on frames are also damaged when the upright is hit.
• Localised damage such as dents, buckles, tears and splits should be replaced immediately.
